Amfebutamone (Bupropion) HCl is a selective norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor that targets the dopamine transporter and norepinephrine transporter, while also functioning as a noncompetitive nicotinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist. By inhibiting monoamine reuptake, it elevates synaptic concentrations of dopamine and norepinephrine, leading to enhanced neurotransmitter signaling and downstream modulation of central nervous system pathways that regulate mood, cognition, and reward-related behaviors. - Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
