ABT-751 (E7010) is an orally bioavailable sulfonamide antimitotic agent that targets β-tubulin. It binds to the colchicine-binding site on β-tubulin and inhibits microtubule polymerization, thereby disrupting mitotic spindle assembly. This inhibition induces G2/M phase cell cycle arrest and triggers apoptosis in cancer cells. Furthermore, ABT-751 displays broad-spectrum activity against diverse tumor cell lines, including multidrug-resistant phenotypes, and disrupts vascular structures. [1]
