3CAI is a small-molecule kinase inhibitor that targets AKT1 and AKT2. By suppressing the activation and phosphorylation of AKT isoforms, 3CAI attenuates downstream signal transduction through the AKT/mTOR pathway in cancer cells. This molecular inhibition leads to reduced cell proliferation, suppression of survival signaling, impaired tumor cell migration, and the induction of programmed cell death or apoptosis. [1]
