Biological Activity
ZK756326 is a non-peptide full agonist of CC chemokine receptor 8 (CCR8). Upon binding to CCR8, it stimulates downstream G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathways, dose-dependently triggering intracellular calcium mobilization. Furthermore, activation of CCR8 by ZK756326 leads to cross-desensitization of the receptor response to its endogenous chemokine ligand CCL1, modulating CCR8-mediated chemotactic and immunological cellular responses. Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
