Yhhu-3792 hydrochloride is a Notch signaling activator that enhances the self-renewal capacity of neural stem cells (NSCs). Activation of the Notch pathway leads to increased downstream expression of Hes3 and Hes5, expanding the NSC pool and promoting endogenous neurogenesis within the hippocampal dentate gyrus. Consequently, this target engagement enhances spatial and episodic memory functions, highlighting its potential utility in neural regeneration and neurodegenerative disease research.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
