Biological Activity

VVD-130037 (BAY-3605349) is an orally available, covalent small-molecule activator of Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (KEAP1). By covalently binding KEAP1, it promotes the enhanced cellular degradation of nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (NRF2). Attenuating NRF2 signaling disrupts downstream antioxidant and cytoprotective gene expression, impairing tumor cell survival and resulting in significant inhibition of tumor growth in advanced solid tumors. FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
