Ordering Information

Biological Activity

V-9302 is a competitive small-molecule antagonist of transmembrane glutamine flux that selectively targets amino acid transporter ASCT2 (SLC1A5) with an IC50 offor glutamine uptake inhibition in HEK-293 cells. Blockade of ASCT2-mediated transport attenuates downstream mTORC1 pathway signaling, elevates intracellular reactive oxygen species and oxidative stress, and impairs tumor cell proliferation while inducing apoptotic cell death. FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
