UNC6852 is a selective von Hippel-Lindau-recruiting PROTAC degrader targeting polycomb repressive complex 2 with an IC50 offor EED. By recruiting the VHL E3 ubiquitin ligase to the allosteric EED subunit, UNC6852 induces ubiquitin-mediated proteasomal degradation of PRC2 core components. This leads to profound inhibition of histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation and represses downstream PRC2-mediated oncogenic gene expression programs in cancer cells. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
