TYM-3-98 is a selective inhibitor of phosphoinositide 3-kinase delta (PI3Kδ). By suppressing the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, it inhibits cell proliferation, induces apoptosis in B-cell lymphoma cells, and reduces tumor growth in xenograft models. PI3Kδ signaling plays a critical role in hematopoietic cell survival, where targeted enzyme blockade disrupts oncogenic survival pathways in B-cell malignancies. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
