Biological Activity

Tucidinostat (Chidamide) is a selective histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor targeting HDAC1 (IC50 95 nM), HDAC2 (IC50 160 nM), HDAC3 (IC50 67 nM), and HDAC10 (IC50 78 nM). It blocks HDAC enzymatic activity, inducing chromatin remodeling and histone hyperacetylation. Downstream, this inhibition promotes G1 phase cell cycle arrest, triggers tumor cell apoptosis, and enhances immune cell-mediated cytotoxicity.

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
