Troxipide (KU 54) is a systemic non-antisecretory gastric cytoprotective agent with anti-ulcer, anti-inflammatory, and mucus-secreting properties. It operates independently of gastric or duodenal pH to promote mucosal defense, increase mucin secretion, and attenuate inflammatory signaling. By preserving mucosal microcirculation and suppressing inflammatory mediator production, Troxipide prevents gastric ulcer formation and supports mucosal repair in gastrointestinal injury models. [1]
