Biological Activity

Description Trenbolone acetate (RU-1697, Trenbolone 17β), a synthetic anabolic steroid, is an androgen ester and a long-acting prodrug of trenbolone.
In vivo Although the oral route is less effective than was sc injection, trenbolone acetate (TBA) has been shown to disrupt the reproductive system of humans, pigs, mice, rats, and other mammalian species at relatively low dosage levels when administered orally[1]. TBA increases growth in young female rats primarily through the suppression of adrenal activity and sexually mature rats show a greater growth response to TBA[2].
