Tolfenamic acid is a cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor that suppresses prostaglandin synthesis within inflammatory signaling cascades. Additionally, tolfenamic acid downregulates specificity protein transcription factors, including Sp1, Sp3, and Sp4, leading to decreased expression of pro-survival and angiogenic targets. Downstream phenotypic effects include the inhibition of cell proliferation, suppression of tumor growth, and induction of apoptosis in various cancer models.

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
