Biological Activity
Sunvozertinib (DZD9008) is an oral, potent, and selective ErbB family tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting EGFR and HER2 mutants. It effectively inhibits wild-type EGFR as well as oncogenic mutations, including EGFR exon 20 insertions and HER2 exon 20 insertions. By disrupting ErbB receptor phosphorylation, sunvozertinib blocks downstream RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK and PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathways, leading to the inhibition of cancer cell proliferation and survival.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
