Sulfatinib is a potent, selective tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting VEGFR1, VEGFR2, VEGFR3, FGFR1, and CSF1R. By concurrently blocking VEGFR and FGFR pathways alongside CSF1R signaling, it suppresses receptor auto-phosphorylation, impairs tumor angiogenesis, and inhibits macrophage-mediated tumor immune evasion. These actions disrupt vascular endothelial cell survival, impair tumor cell proliferation, and modulate the tumor microenvironment to suppress tumor growth.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
