Staurosporine (STS) is a potent, broad-spectrum ATP-competitive kinase inhibitor that targets protein kinase C (PKC), protein kinase A (PKA), and other protein kinases. By competing for ATP-binding domains, staurosporine disrupts downstream protein phosphorylation and signaling cascades involved in cell growth and survival. Consequently, staurosporine potently triggers apoptosis across diverse cell types, making it a widely utilized tool compound in kinase research and oncology studies. [1][2]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
