SS-3091 is a pan-KRas inhibitor that targets the interaction interfaces of KRas, destabilizing critical KRas-protein complexes and disrupting downstream signaling. By blocking KRas-driven signaling across diverse mutant profiles, including G12D, G12V, and G13D variants, it suppresses downstream RAF/MEK/ERK and PI3K/AKT pathways, resulting in reduced ERK and AKT phosphorylation in cancer cell lines.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
