| Molecular Formula |
Soybean oil is a natural mixture of essential fatty acids that modulates lipid metabolism and inflammatory signaling pathways. Supplementation with soybean oil attenuates toll-like receptor-4 (TLR4) expression in hepatic tissue and suppresses lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammatory signaling. Downstream, its constituent linoleic and linolenic acids reduce the cellular generation of reactive nitrogen species and downregulate interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) expression, thereby dampening pro-inflammatory responses and preserving metabolic homeostasis.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
