SOP1812 (QN-302) is a tetra-substituted naphthalene diimide derivative and selective inhibitor of G-quadruplex (G4) transcription, exhibiting high binding affinity for hTERT G4 (Kd 4.9 nM) and HuTel21 G4 (Kd 28.4 nM). By binding to G-quadruplex DNA in promoter regions of cancer genes, it downregulates Wnt/β-catenin signaling and S100P expression, demonstrating potent anti-proliferative and anti-tumor activity in pancreatic cancer models.[1][2]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
