Biological Activity

SJB-A is a small-molecule inhibitor of ubiquitin-specific protease 1 (USP1). Pharmacological inhibition of USP1 by SJB-A promotes the degradation of inhibitor of DNA-binding 1 (ID1) in leukemic cells. In B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) cells, USP1 blockade disrupts the ID1/AKT signaling pathway, downregulating p-AKT expression. Consequently, SJB3-019A significantly represses cell proliferation and induces cell apoptosis. [1][2]

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
