Biological Activity
Senaparib (IMP4297) is a potent, selective, and orally active inhibitor of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 and 2 (PARP1/2). By suppressing PARP enzymatic activity, it disrupts base excision repair of single-strand DNA damage, leading to persistent double-strand breaks during DNA replication. This triggers synthetic lethality and selective cytotoxicity in homologous recombination-deficient tumor cells, demonstrating strong antitumor efficacy in preclinical oncology studies. [1][2]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
