Sasapyrine (Salsalate) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent that acts as a prodrug of salicylate and functions as an activator of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and an inhibitor of the NF-kB signaling pathway. By activating AMPK, Sasapyrine stimulates fatty acid oxidation and suppresses lipid synthesis in metabolic tissues. Additionally, its inhibition of NF-kB signaling attenuates inflammatory responses and reduces the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
