RGB-28668 free base is a multitargeted cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) inhibitor with potent activity against CDK, CDK1, CDK2, CDK, CDK, and CDK, as well as GSK-β, TAK1, Jak2, and MEKIt suppresses RNA polymerase II phosphorylation to block transcription, inducing nucleolar stress, Mdm2 loss, and pactivation. This inhibition of transcriptional and cell cycle pathways triggers caspase-dependent apoptosis and cytotoxicity in tumor models. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
