QC6352 is an orally active small-molecule inhibitor targeting the lysine demethylase 4 (KDM4/JMJD2) family. By inhibiting KDM4 activity, QC6352 promotes the accumulation of histone H3K36 trimethylation in KDM4C-overexpressing cells, modulating chromatin structure and downstream gene expression. Consequently, this target blockade delivers significant antiproliferative and antitumor effects, markedly reducing tumor growth in HER2-positive breast cancer models. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
