PI-3065 is a selective p110δ inhibitor with an IC50 of 15 nM, exhibiting greater than 70-fold selectivity over other PI3K family members. By inhibiting p110δ, PI-3065 attenuates downstream AKT/mTOR signaling pathways. Inactivation of p110δ disrupts regulatory T-cell–mediated immune tolerance, enhancing cytotoxic T-cell responses and impairing tumor growth in preclinical cancer models. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
