Biological Activity

PHI-is an orally active, potent third-generation inhibitor of FLT3 designed to target FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 signaling. It overcomes drug resistance mediated by FLT3 internal tandem duplication and tyrosine kinase domain mutations in acute myeloid leukemia. Disruption of FLT3 receptor kinase activity attenuates downstream oncogenic signaling, inhibiting the accumulation and survival of abnormal leukemic hematopoietic precursor cells. [1]

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
