PFK-015 is a selective small-molecule inhibitor targeting 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-bisphosphatase 3 (PFKFB3). Pharmacological inhibition of PFKFB3 reduces intracellular levels of fructose-2,6-bisphosphate, thereby suppressing glycolytic flux and cellular ATP production. This disruption of glycolytic metabolism impairs downstream cell cycle progression and cell survival pathways, ultimately leading to the suppression of cancer cell proliferation and attenuation of tumor growth in experimental models. - Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
