By inhibiting PYK2 and FAK autophosphorylation, it blocks downstream signaling pathways, including ERK and AKT cascades. This inhibition impairs focal adhesion turnover, cell migration, and cell invasion while promoting apoptosis in dependent cell phenotypes.
