Pam3CSK4 is a synthetic triacylated lipopeptide that acts as an agonist of the human Toll-like receptor 1/2 (TLR1/2) heterodimer. Upon binding to TLR1/2, it induces receptor dimerization and recruits the adaptor protein MyD88, triggering the NF-kB and MAPK signaling pathways. This activation stimulates downstream pro-inflammatory gene expression and cytokine release in immune cells. [1][2]
