Ospemifene (FC-1271a) is a non-hormonal selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that selectively binds to estrogen receptors. By modulating estrogen receptor signaling pathways, ospemifene exerts tissue-selective agonist effects in vaginal epithelial tissues while maintaining neutral or antagonist activity in mammary tissues. This selective activation regulates downstream transcription factors and gene expression involved in cell proliferation, mucosal maturation, and tissue remodeling, thereby restoring vaginal tissue integrity.

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
