NVS-PAK1-1 is a potent and selective allosteric p21-activated kinase 1 (PAK1) inhibitor. By selectively binding to an allosteric site on PAK1, NVS-PAK1-1 suppresses PAK1 kinase activity and downstream signaling through pathways such as MAPK/ERK and AKT/mTOR. Inhibition of PAK1 alters cytoskeletal dynamics, cell migration, and cell proliferation in various cancer cell models.

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
