Nrf2-IN-1 is a pyrazolyl hydroxamic acid derivative that acts as a specific inhibitor of nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2). By downregulating Nrf2 protein expression, this small molecule effectively blocks the downstream Nrf2-ARE antioxidant signaling pathway. Disruption of this transcriptional defense mechanism suppresses cytoprotective gene expression and alters cellular redox homeostasis. [1]
