(−)-Norepinephrine is a natural neurotransmitter and endogenous agonist of adrenergic receptors, targeting α1-, α2-, and β1-adrenoceptors. Activation of these G-protein-coupled receptors modulates downstream intracellular signaling pathways, regulating vascular tone, cardiac contractility, and metabolic homeostasis. In preclinical research, (−)-norepinephrine administration is utilized to induce animal models of cardiomyopathy and examine catecholamine-induced myocardial dysfunction. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
