MZ-1 is a VHL-recruiting proteolysis targeting chimera (PROTAC) degrader of bromodomain-containing protein 4 (BRD4) that selectively targets BET bromodomains. By tethering BRD4 to the von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) E3 ubiquitin ligase, MZ-1 induces ubiquitin-dependent proteasomal degradation of BRD4. This depletion inhibits downstream BET-mediated transcriptional networks, downregulating oncogenic signaling pathways and suppressing cancer cell proliferation. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
