Ordering Information

Biological Activity

MS023 is a potent, selective, substrate-competitive type I protein arginine methyltransferase (PRMT) inhibitor targeting PRMT1 (IC50 30 nM), PRMT3 (IC50 119 nM), PRMT4 (IC50 83 nM), PRMT6 (IC50 4 nM), and PRMT8 (IC50 5 nM). By suppressing type I PRMT enzymatic activity, MS023 blocks cellular protein arginine methylation and significantly reduces cellular asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) levels. [1]

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
