Biological Activity
Lestaurtinib is an orally active indolocarbazole derivative that functions as a multikinase inhibitor, potently targeting FLT3 (IC50 3 nM) and JAK2. By blocking receptor kinase autophosphorylation, Lestaurtinib suppresses downstream JAK/STAT and FLT3 signaling pathways. This inhibition impairs cellular proliferation and induces apoptotic cell death in acute myeloid leukemia and myeloproliferative neoplasm models. [1][2]
