KY02111 is a small-molecule Wnt signaling inhibitor that promotes the differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) into functional cardiomyocytes. It acts downstream of APC and GSK3β in the canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway to attenuate β-catenin-mediated transcription. Through suppression of Wnt signaling, KY02111 enhances cardiac lineage specification and promotes cardiomyocyte generation in hPSC culture models. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
