Biological Activity
KHS101 hydrochloride is a small-molecule inhibitor of transforming acidic coiled-coil-containing protein 3 (TACC3), a regulator of centrosome-microtubule dynamic networks. By disrupting TACC3 interaction and interfering with mitochondrial chaperone networks, KHS101 selectively impairs glioblastoma cell self-renewal, suppresses tumor proliferation, and induces apoptotic cell death. Furthermore, KHS101 disrupts metabolic homeostasis in glioblastoma stem cells, providing a targetable vulnerability in high-grade brain tumors. [1][2]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).

Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer longer shelf life compared to stock solutions.
