Biological Activity

EP4-IN-1 is a potent prostanoid EP4 receptor inhibitor. By antagonizing the G protein-coupled EP4 receptor, EP4-IN-1 disrupts prostaglandin E2 (PGE2)-mediated cAMP signaling and downstream immunosuppressive cascades within the tumor microenvironment. Consequently, inhibition of this receptor axis enhances anti-tumor immune responses and modulates nociceptive pathway activation, supporting research in tumor immunity and anti-inflammatory analgesia. FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
