TC-E(KDM2/7-IN-1) is a selective histone demethylase inhibitor of KDM7A (IC50 0.2 µM), KDM7B (IC50 1.2 µM), and KDM2A (IC50 6.8 µM). By blocking the enzymatic demethylation activity of the KDM2/7 subfamily, it modulates chromatin structure and epigenetic regulation to alter downstream transcriptional gene expression. Consequently, this compound suppresses tumor growth and exhibits marked antiproliferative activity against human cancer cell lines. [1]
