JT010 is a potent agonist of transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily A member 1 (TRPA1) with an EC50 of 0.65 nM. It opens the TRPA1 channel by covalently and site-selectively binding to Cys621, driving intracellular calcium influx. Activation of TRPA1 modulates downstream calcium signaling pathways and mediates physiological responses to electrophilic irritant stimuli. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
