Biological Activity

JAB-is a potent allosteric inhibitor of Src homology 2 domain-containing phosphatase 2 (SHP2). By selectively blocking SHP2, it disrupts receptor tyrosine kinase signaling and suppresses downstream RAS/MAPK pathway activation. Furthermore, JAB-enhances the anti-tumor cytotoxic activity of CD8+ T cells and can be combined with PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies to target non-responsive tumors. [1][2]

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
