Biological Activity
INCB086550 is a potent small-molecule inhibitor of the PD-1/PD-L1 interaction, demonstrating an IC50 ≤. By binding directly to PD-L1, it blocks the engagement of PD-1 and promotes PD-L1 dimerization and internalization. Inhibition of this signaling axis restores T-cell receptor activation, enhances cytotoxic T-lymphocyte function, and reactivates antitumor immune responses within the tumor microenvironment. [1]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
