IMD 0354 is a selective inhibitor of IκB kinase β (IKKβ) that modulates the canonical NF-kB signaling pathway. By blocking IKKβ-dependent phosphorylation and subsequent degradation of IκBα, the compound prevents the nuclear translocation of active NF-kB complexes. This target inhibition downregulates downstream pro-inflammatory gene transcription, suppresses neoplastic cellular proliferation, and promotes apoptotic signaling cascades in target cells. [1]
