ID11916 is an orally active androgen receptor (AR) antagonist and phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It blocks androgen binding to AR, suppresses AR nuclear translocation, and inhibits downstream transcriptional activity. Through inhibition of AR-mediated signaling and PDE5 activity, ID11916 exhibits anti-proliferative effects in cancer cells and significantly suppresses tumor growth in MDA-MB-453 xenograft models.
