HJC0350 is a potent and selective EPAC2 inhibitor that exhibits high selectivity over Epac1. By inhibiting EPAC2 activity, this compound blockades intracellular cAMP-dependent guanine nucleotide exchange factor signaling, suppressing downstream Rap GTPase activation. This selective inhibition disrupts EPAC2-mediated cellular pathways, subsequently modulating physiological functions such as glucose-stimulated insulin secretion and downstream effector regulation in target tissues.
