GSK046 (iBET-BD2) is a selective, orally active inhibitor targeting the second bromodomain (BD2) of bromodomain and extraterminal (BET) proteins, including BRD2, BRD3, BRD4, and BRDT. By selectively binding BD2, it inhibits BET interactions with acetylated chromatin, modulating downstream transcriptional programs involved in immunomodulatory and inflammatory pathways. GSK046 exhibits potent immunomodulatory activity and suppresses pro-inflammatory cellular phenotypes. [1]
