GRGDSP is a fibronectin-derived synthetic peptide that acts as an inhibitor of integrin receptors. By competing with extracellular matrix components for integrin binding, GRGDSP disrupts integrin-mediated cell adhesion and downstream signaling pathways. This targeted inhibition suppresses tumor cell adhesion and migration to limit metastasis, whereas surface functionalization with GRGDSP on cardiovascular biomaterials enhances endothelialization and cellular integration.
