GDC-2992 is an orally active degrader of the androgen receptor (AR) that recruits cereblon (CRBN) to target AR for proteasomal degradation. By inducing AR ubiquitination and lowering AR protein levels, GDC-2992 effectively suppresses downstream AR signaling pathways and inhibits cell proliferation in VCaP prostate cancer cells, demonstrating potential to overcome treatment resistance in advanced prostate cancer.
