Biological Activity

Fulzerasib is an irreversible covalent inhibitor targeting the KRAS G12C mutant protein. By binding to the inactive state of KRAS G12C, it disrupts downstream RAS signaling through the MAPK/ERK pathway and potently suppresses phosphorylation of ERK. This target inhibition leads to suppressed cell proliferation, induction of apoptosis, and robust preclinical antitumor activity across multiple KRAS G12C-mutant tumor models, including pancreatic, lung, and colorectal cancers. FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
